![]() ![]() Here’s how one shopper put the Ryobi Pressure Washer to good use: People said that they were a good starting point for power tools because they were less expensive than other companies while also being more natural to maneuver, mostly because they were battery-powered. Overall, positive Ryobi reviews praised the brand for its affordability and ease of use. I checked out Site Jabber where the brand has earned an overall score of 4.4/5 stars from 464 reviews. While those numbers are impressive, there were more Ryobi reviews I had to consult with to get a fair perspective of the brand as a whole. 40v Battery: 3.5/5 stars after 4 reviews.Electric Pressure Washer: 4.6/5 stars from 4.8k reviews.Brushless 8-1/4″ Table Saw: 4.9/5 stars after 10 reviews.Brushless 15″ String Trimmer Kit: 4.9/5 stars from 36 reviews.Overall, it seems that people were pleased, as shown by the average product scores: To find out if Ryobi’s products stand up to how they are advertised, I scoured the brand’s website to see what customers had to say about the products you read about today. With all that said, let’s move on to some of the brand’s highlights. ![]() Their batteries form the backbone of their enterprise as the majority of their tools lean heavily on them, meaning that you’ll have the convenience of a cordless drill if you’re picking up one from Ryobi. Ryobi offers a great balance between price, usability, and power. But since that carrier is so popular, it’s not too hard to find what you’re looking for. In fact, The Home Depot is the only place where you can purchase their products. That doesn’t mean that you can walk into a gas station and leave with a Ryobi lawn mower. Many people turn to Ryobi when they need tools in a pinch because of how easy they are to find. It wasn’t until 1968 that the brand entered the power tool market, becoming a global presence since then. Though the Ryobi company has been around since 1943, their power tools department began nearly 25 years later. It’s these characteristics that have earned the company praise. Keep in mind also that ALL of the Ryobi 18v ONE+ tools are compatible with ALL of the Ryobi ONE+ batteries! If you get a kit, you will already have what it takes to power more tools later when you expand. You’ll find two common traits among most Ryobi tools: low prices and battery power. The entire cost of the kit currently ($99 on sale….normally $129), is LESS than a single high-capacity battery from most of the other manufacturers - and that includes a Drill, 2 batteries, and a charger! Overall I think that this would be a great drill for the Homeowner or DIYer. 86 Holes (1/2″ Holes into Standard Hollow Cinder Block).Runtime testing included ( using fully charged P107 Batteries ): Surprisingly, they lasted a long time & got a lot of work done per charge! Rather than test this with the larger P108 high-capacity batteries, we decided to test it with the compact batteries that came in the kit - just so you can get a 100% accurate representation of what to expect. 3 Drilling Modes (Drilling, Driving, Hammer Drilling).(2) P107 18v ONE+ (Compatible with ALL 18v ONE+ batteries). The specs on the Ryobi P1812 Hammer Drill Kit are : We bought this at our local Home Depot on a whim - basically we needed 2 compact batteries, and this kit (including two batteries) was the same price! So for us….free drill & free charger! Having the ability to mount a lockbox or an extra set of keys, install a hose reel, or drill holes in your concrete floor to bolt the safe down are things that you can easily do by simply drilling holes into the brick or concrete slab. When you dont need it, it is as simple as flipping a switch & now you are back in regular drilling or driving mode. This creates a continual “hammering effect” on the bit as it spins, which will drive it through concrete very quickly. This one drill can not only drill into wood, metal, and plastics - it also can drill into concrete & stone with ease! That is because it is a “Hammer Drill” - which has the same capabilities of a normal “Drill/Driver”, with one addition…the hammer drill mode. Ryobi is pretty much solving that for you. However, taking a walk through the tool aisle at any hardware store can be very confusing - since it is hard to plan ahead in picking one that “you might need”. For the homeowner or DIYer, a cordless drill is a necessity.
